Christmas 2008

Merry Christmas!!!! This year we traveled to St. Greoge to spend a few days with Jannette, Liz & Mom and all the kids. They were in charge of planning the Stewart Christmas party. We had our party in a Barn and it was the perfect setting for a wonderful night. We had almost everyone there. The only 2 that were missing was Trevor (serving a mission in Oklahoma) and Nathan who was unable to get off work. Other than that everyone was there.

We had a great time, four wheeling, roasting marshmellows, playing phase 10, going fishing, eating good food, watching movies and sitting around the camp file! oh...did I say eating...we had the best meals! It started out with Justin making us breakfast burritos, then for dinner that night we had Keiths dutch oven chicken, potatoes, rolls (hot baked in the dutch oven) and corn. the next morning, Chad was on the schedule and he made pancakes, with all the triming. Then that night I made stacked dinners with scones and salad!

11. Sunday - July 6th - I had Mom and Chris, and the Oaks over for Dinner. Chris leaves on Tuesday to go back to Brazil. It has been great to have her here for a visit. Her and Craig are mission Presidents for Brazil Soa Paulo East Mission. They have 1 year left.

Mothers Day

We all gathered at Grandma's to plant flowers. The kids had a great time catching the garden snakes. Grandma's yard looks so good. She even told Tony that she was grateful for the accident last year when he started her back yard on fire. Last Sunday (May 18th) I cooked dinner and brought it down to grandmas so we could eat out on her patio. Suzie and Keith are on a cruise so I invited Amanda, Keira, Josh & Whitney to join us. Also in the picture is Colton's friend Maggie.

Tony's Award

We had an exciting thing happen last night. Tony was honored from the Granite Education Foundation. He was nominated and out of 1200 teachers. They gave the award to 10 teachers in the district and Tony was one of them. It was a very exciting night.Tony is pictured with his Principal, Claudia Thorum, and one of the Board members. I have also included a picture of the full page add that ran in both the Salt Lake Tribune and the Deseret News.My Camera did not take very good pictures, but the lighting inside the room was not very good.I want to thank Mom, Cathy, Stan, Suzie and Keith, Amanda (Jordan Girlfriend) and my children for attending. It meant a lot to have you there supporting us.Have a great day!
